I’ve been wearing my postpartum binder that I got after my c-section as a splint the way they show, and I think it (and purposefully engaging my core) have helped close it back up a lot already (now I just have like a finger’s width at my belly button, closed on the rest of my belly.) I’m super glad about that because I don’t want to let it get really bad and have tons of work to do after baby is here!Lydiahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14834453573285443355noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6110052640237660954.post-32081886898348550962015-03-09T08:34:38.595-05:002015-03-09T08:34:38.595-05:00If you wanna check it out there is a group called ...If you wanna check it out there is a group called the tummy team that's all about helping postpartum women with healing their diasteses- they have some good advise and exercises that I usef after my c-section Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01639207990956526254noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6110052640237660954.post-47458581796768438832015-03-05T09:58:56.741-06:002015-03-05T09:58:56.741-06:00Thank you, Megan! Because the last couple days I’ve been kinda backtracking nausea wise. I’m having a hard time not losing my mind.Lydiahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14834453573285443355noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6110052640237660954.post-35326363114129886742015-03-04T12:35:49.676-06:002015-03-04T12:35:49.676-06:00SO glad you've had a breakthrough!!! That kin...SO glad you've had a breakthrough!!! That kind of makes sense with what my GP was working with me...my estrogen is way through the roof and the best I've ever felt was when she was giving me progesterone to bring that level up to match. Obviously this is not the ideal way to go because then both levels are too high but having them be more in balance with each other made my PMS so so so much better. We only did that for a little while because ultimately she wanted to get my estrogen down and we ended up working from different angles on that. Hope it helps you!!Meganhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03377530283382030657noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6110052640237660954.post-1097073074039395352015-03-03T19:44:00.376-06:002015-03-03T19:44:00.376-06:00Oh Thanks Yvonne! :) I have to say, I am super gla...Oh Thanks Yvonne! :) I have to say, I am super glad I went with the plan to just wear this dress for pictures -- it takes any planning for photos out of the mix -- nice and easy -- can’t go wrong with a fitted black dress. :)
And it’s nice to hear the progesterone idea echoed. It’s something I never thought about before now.Lydiahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14834453573285443355noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6110052640237660954.post-58392354173461746602015-03-03T18:06:36.932-06:002015-03-03T18:06:36.932-06:00You are rocking that black dress! I am so glad you're feeling better. :-)

And I second your midwife's advice on the progesterone-- there are so many extra estrogens in the environment from decades of chemical birth control getting into the water, that many women could benefit from a little progesterone boost. I take oral progesterone for 10 days every cycle and it helps me be human instead of a raging PMS monster. Obviously checking with your medical provider is a good idea first, but this was a very worthwhile topic to bring up!Yvonnehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03366826691988448425noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6110052640237660954.post-85476670309217482342015-03-03T18:06:16.126-06:002015-03-03T18:06:16.126-06:00You are rocking that black dress!
