(I was over weight before having her, so I wanted to lose 15 more pounds than I gained, which was 41 pounds. If you wanted to read about that I blogged it under “How I lost the baby weight and then some.” I have pictures posted on that one -- I never posted pics for the 21 day fix -- I felt too braggy or something, just felt wrong for me at the moment.) I do think the 21 Day Fix will work well for you. Be careful with some of the more jarring high impact moves -- my knees are always kinda flimsy while I am nursing because relaxin stays in your system, so I try to be really aware of that. If a move starts to sort of hurt, I really tone it down because I messed my knee up after baby #1 over doing it. And as far as nursing goes, for me I was nursing a toddler but I didn’t notice any slow down on my milk production. If think think you are, I’d just add in a bit more calories --they say 500 for exclusively breast feeding. And the last thing I’d like to throw out there is, just be patient with yourself. I always take longer to look “depregnafied” than it takes me to actually lose the weight. Like my hips always look bigger in the back for a few more months, and my waistline just kinda a different shape for a while, even when the scale says I’m back. Your body just needs to shift back into place. I’ve heard doctors say it takes a year for your body to recover in full. So not saying that to discourage you from being healthy -- that’s the best way to be, just don’t worry if you don’t feel totally recovered super fast. I just stumbled across your blog. I stumbled a...Hi! I just stumbled across your blog. I stumbled across the 21 day fix on Instagram tonight and rush ordered it like an idiot. Haha. Then I decided to Google it to find out if it is legit. A bit backwards, eh? My husband doesn't know yet, I ordered it while he was... well is... sleeping. Lmao. Anyway, it's good to know that it worked for you. We have a vacation planned in 24 days to Disney World and I realized a few days ago that none of my pre pregnancy shorts fit the way they used to (I'm 4 months post partum). I love my sweet baby girl and I'm glad I housed her, but it's time to shed the flabby stomach tent. Hopefully this works for me. I tried joining a stroller mom workout a month ago and they told me my baby had to be 6 months old! Who wants to get skinny 6 months after baby? I wanna get skinny now! Lol Anyway, my long winded point. . Thanks for the blog posts. They're encouraging! Did you ever end up posting before & after pictures? You said you were nursing, did it ever mess up your milk supply? We are ebf and that was my concern with the advocare 24 day challenge and whole 30.. but this is real food not supplements so it looks promising & breastfeeding safe.Stephanienoreply@blogger.com
